Adopt a Guinea Pig (short coat)

Colby and Jack are two inseparable young brothers who were originally housed in small plastic bins and never given hay and were rescued after their owner threatened to dump them outside. Noisy but sweet boys, Small Angels is hoping to find their forever home!

The boys were born in early October 2017. Jack, who is white and light yellow and neutered, loves to burrow under a blanket when given the opportunity. His brother Colby, who is dark yellow and white and also neutered, is an occasional nibbler but it should not be a big issue. Some young piggies nibble skin and fingers as they explore their environment. We aren't sure how long he will be in this stage, so at this time, he would not be a good fit for a family with a young child. Despite some initial reluctance at being picked up, both boys are great snugglers once you get them settled in. If you snuggle one and not the other, it won't be too long before you'll hear squeals of protest from the one that has been left behind - he's missing his brother! 

Jack and Colby are both very vocal about their constant desire to be fed. The boys excitedly squeal and wheek not only when they hear a plastic bag rustle, but when the refrigerator door is opened at all or sometimes even if you just walk past them. These piggies are not picky -- in addition to their regular diet of hay, pellets and leafy greens they love any and all treats including a variety of fresh veggies and the occasional fruit treat.
